Like most employers, in all industries, vacation(user) accrual increases with years of service.

First/second year pilots complaining that they don't get more than a couple weeks off per year sounds entitled...especially in the airlines.

If you want "normal" vacation, you can have it without disrupting the rest of your life.

If you want epic time off, you can have that too, but at a price. Let's say you saved up 50 hours of vacay + user...
Bid three weeks of vacation, crossing two months. Then bid 5-6 days off before the vacay in the first month and 5-6 days off after the vacay in the second month. You just got over a month off.

Try that in Corporate America after two years on the job....they'll have changed the locks by the time you get back.
