That's not just Comair folks though. I think if you took a training snapshot of anyone who spends a prolonged time in one airplane, the transition to another is difficult. When you take someone with 10 years of automation and put them into an MD-80 for example, they will have a steep learning curve. Just the scan alone will take a while to come back.

We see the same thing happening with some of the senior 80 guys here going to the Airbus.

Not a pilot skill problem IMO.
