Also, you mentioned family "near Chicago." DAY is also near Chicago, or an easy commute from there, and as of the latest Round 1 awards, people are getting that just out of training in DAY, which means you can use the SAP.

PSA is also a fairly quick upgrade these days, and the flight benefits on American are very good. You could be a SAPing FO in DAY and use the flight bennies to travel the world from ORD.
