I think you'll find that 121 time is almost always favored by other 121 carriers. As I recall in the WAI Delta brief they had a slide something to the effect of "who do we typically hire...." and the answer was former military pilots and Part 121 pilots. I suspect this is true for most airlines if you look at who's getting hired.
