While the higher pay is always nice, it has a downside as well. There are now some less desirable people joining IOE simply for the money. Glad mine is done and over with.
The flip side to that is you now have a substantial backlog of people who want to be LCAs. With way more applicants than openings they have the ability to be more selective.
