They don't care enough to know the difference. To those with an ounce of perceived interest, I tell them Envoy. I'm not embarrassed to work for a regional/Envoy.
I understand your post. I have been doing this a while too. Explaining what Envoy is, is not that complicated and it informs the public that you are just another contractor and in fact, NOT an AA pilot. Whatever, do what you like. I'm just looking out for your credibility.
