Had training recently. Got in late from J/S so tried a local hotel, in relation to the AOC.
Went to the Fair View Inn on American Way. Yep, next to the bus station.
With tax, $78 per night. No FedEx rate.
Was a little leery, to say the least. Went in an spoke with the night manager.
He walked around to my room and we talked about security. Newer management at the hotel. Owner installed cameras and security lighting around the hotel. When your driving down American Way you can't miss it.
Alternate airport beacon. Room was fine.
What I mean by that is 3 star fine. Clean room, sheets and towels.
TV with movie channels. Internet. A/C blows cold and a small frig.
Security gates that close at 1 am.
Friendly staff and cleaning staff were helpful.
I personally will stay here again in 9 months.
