Well that's a given. I'm arguing the fact that the CRJ is somehow going to make you a better pilot. I disagree. Energy management is much easier in the CRJ.
Because you learn to recognize it all a hell of a lot quicker when you manually plan every arrival instead of VNAV to an ILS. Not to mention the fact that you have to control airspeed on an approach. Not saying one is more difficult than another, but the CRJ is a better step for a former CFI. I've seen what product is produced by either airplane and you can't even compare the difference.
