As to your second comment, agree as well. I have to place the blame on some of our CAs as well. Being "laid back" on SOP isn't helping anyone. The newer guys are like sponges, absorbing everything good or bad.
I've flown with dozens of US military folks, 2 French Air Force pilots, and 2 Israeli Air Force pilots (most of whom were here less than a year). I have found each one (so far) to be extremely professional, humble, and eager to learn. My only complaint with a few of them is that they speak in this weird foreign acronym language.
