Humm interesting...what about UAX? I was listing on a UAX flight and didn't look at the PS number. When I saw the list I saw 5 PS riders listed! Then I saw the 5 under PS. There went those seats. Bad enough it's an RJ. Worse when they have to position their crews! But I digress.

UAX moves crews around a lot using PS from what i've heard on the line. When flights are looking full last minute at the gate I've heard of commuting pilots calling their crew desk and getting a PS seat to "protect a flight"... From my experience in PS and commuting on both UAX and mainline, its mainline that PS more crews. But I always figured that was because they have more crews per aircraft. Also, I've never heard or gotten PS from scheduling because I told them I wouldn't be able to make it. But that's probably because we have a very good and very generous commuter policy. So we just comply with that...or call in sick with our very good and very generous sick call policy.
