What crappy contract? Most would say that the pilot group is pretty happy with the current contract.

And while I fly less than most (60 hours in May) I'm not sure what the ideal is. I mean if we all were only allowed to fly 60 hours that would create a lot of jobs. However I'm guessing that such a limitation would be received very poorly.

So somewhere between 60 hours and FAR limits is the ideal monthly max. What is it? Who determines it? The only thing that I can state is that it is somewhere between 60 hours and FAR limits!
