You know, actually getting told no vs. crickets. It's safe to say AAY rejects a lot more pilots per capita than DAL. From what my recruiter friends say, like 80% of applications within the last 6 months.
Do you mean 80% of people that make it to the in person interview at Allegiant? I'm having a hard time tracking your statement. I think if you want an apple to apples comparison you should look at how many are successful at each company during the interview at HQ.

Delta does "shoot down" quite a few interviewees at the interview. It is my understanding that at Allegiant if you make it to Las Vegas the job is yours to lose.

That being said, Delta is currently hiring more pilots per year than Allegiant currently has on the list. At the end of the day, networking is everything. I know some who were hired recently at Allegiant who got to skip the video/phone interview completely after a successful meet and greet at a job fair.
