That's your story?
If this is true both you and especially your 'friend' are cowards (at best) and are part of the problem. So, why don't you either stop making stuff up or maybe follow your duty (I'm assuming you and your imaginary friend are Vets) and report this crime.
You are making a lot of assumptions with this post and putting words into my mouth. I never once said that this was from a friend. I also never said that I was the only one that was told. Go back and read what I have written and you will see what I am saying.
Additionally, prove that all of this would be a crime! I'm not 100% sure of the legality but I lean toward believing that if these actions by United are in fact happening then they will be almost impossible to prove. With thousands of applications in how do you PROVE that a company is screening out a particular group? Also, there are no government protections that apply here. A company can choose to invite whomever they would like for an interview. They are not obligated to invite any particular group.
Finally, go sit in a dark and quiet room and think long and hard about where this information might be coming from. Think about it. I'll give you a hint. It's not speculation.
