Isn't that the same as saying the government funded climate scientists must be biased, because the corporate ones are.
Climate change is a natural phenomenon, yet the rate of change is the so called "problem". The name should be Climate rate change, but that's semantics.
Scientists take current, and historical data to produce climate models, which they draw conclusions. Over the past 40 years, these models have been horribly inaccurate. Those 97% of scientists came to their conclusions based on models that were up to 8 std deviations wrong. The only models that were correct were based on negligible man-made influence. However, these institutions now claim, today they have better models, and to simply check back in another decade, when they'll be right, this time. In the mean time, we are supposed to hand them trillions in tax dollars. Asking for financial compensation based on false mathematical modeling is the very definition of a scam, even if there is consensus.
