Most of the arguement regarding climate change is whether it exists or not...I think we are all off the mark here. Whether it exists or not is less relevant to the implications that policies designed to combat it have on our economy and jobs. We could gradually transition to renewable energy, provide incentives for clean energy; or we could sell ourselves to the whims of the international community regardless of the impact it has on jobs that rely on the stability of the energy industry.
Clean/green/alternate energy isn't going to happen overnight. In the mean time, fossil fuels is what runs our energy system and much more. Climate deniers take up much of the spotlight on the far right side of the debate but being on the right of center side of this debate doesn't preclude one from believing in an eventual transition to green energy.
