I also don't agree with current policy to fight AGW. I'm not a policy expert, but what is most frustrating is there are two sides, tax and spend and "I don't believe in it and even if I did, God will fix it." I'm all for an approach that significantly reduces carbon emissions that is fair to all parties. I don't know whathat that is, but I'm certain the answer isnt "just get out of my business and it'll fix itself because, capitalism."
With next gen nuclear such as pebble bed reactors, you can use the waste heat for extracting carbon directly out of the air to produce jet A at 15 cents a gallon, or such things as water desalination. We would have the ability to regulate the amount of green houses gases, giving us much improved control of the environment. However, you can see why the elite, who rely on creating problems for further controls, don't really want solutions.
