It definitely isn't real flight time...since you aren't in a real aircraft. It should only be logged as Sim time it is/should be logged separate from simulated flight time (hood time.) You should have a column in your log book just for simulator time.

I just log the type of aircract, sim number and location and time under sim time and what maneuvers were performed.
