So we're talking about a multi billion dollar company contracting out to individuals in their own cars to deliver packages. Do I see that mentality starting their own airline or do I see them doing the DHL model and letting the bottom feeders fight it out. Hmmm....
The later is why it's important to have that ramp under a common union and scoped so tight its untouchable by the outside. It will be the only way to fight off the impending whip saw. Otherwise in a few years time you'll have some startup with clapped out POS aircraft and desperate pilots undercutting what you've built
