From a Cobham (one manufacturer of the OBOGS systems) brochure: "Cobham has established the installation of its flight-proven On-Board Oxygen Generating System (OBOGS) on the Lockheed-Martin F-16 Falcon aircraft to replace the liquid oxygen system (LOX). Minimal modification is required to retrofit the aircraft with OBOGS."
It would seem that if minimal work is required to replace the LOX system, minimal work would be required to reinstall the LOX system (or install it on the T-45). What am I missing?
Is the admiral still doing his traveling lecturing gig?
