If you lost both engines, and lost all electrical in hard IMC, I'm pretty confident the current version of foreflight could get you to safety. If Sully had it, he would have likely made it back to LGA. When you have such a low cost ability to improve safety, even in an astronomically rare situation, it should be a very quick decision to switch to it.
