As great of a place as ASA used to be, it ain't the place no more. Especially if you desire ATL.
(If you are hired at ASA now, you probably won't be able to hold ATL anyhow. Probably would go to LGA.) In case you are unaware, ASA is parking all 50 seaters this year-and many are going to endeavor. The ATL seniority situation will soon really hit the skids.
I hate the way this is turning out. I hate the way Delta has done ASA. I keep this in mind when I pay for travel.
I used to work there. I very much enjoyed my time there. Wonderful people who did their best in a crappy situation-working for a legacy partner who mostly treated them like crap.. The reality of the situation is no good. Sadly, I think ASA is probably done in a couple of years. I think the ATL base is going away sooner than that.
Not just endeavor, SkyWest has gotten more of the 200s than endeavor will. They claimed they would replace older SkyWest planes, that was a complete and utter lie. The SkyWest Delta 200 fleet has grown by already over 15 in 2017...
