Base pay should be based on min guarantee, period, since that is the premise behind our pay scheme. Some are willing to work more hours for more money, but not everyone is. A person who averages 100-110 hours a month might be happy with the slight pay increase, but those pulling 75 or close to it won't be happy. And shouldn't be. It's a PAY CUT. At a time when everyone else is raising pay. EDV thinks they can get away with it because the AA WOs are paying slightly less than us right now.

But what if we vote in this pay cut, and AA folks get a bump in pay? Say 5 grand a year, while we go down? What will THAT do for the company?

For those that average more it is a raise.

Don't get me wrong I'll take the more money option, but the problem is we need to get what we can while the fire is hot, I've seen it turn the other way too many times to wait "because we can get more" down the line.

I see a trend that it's the guys that only fly 75 hours that have a problem with this.

For everyone else it's a benefit.
