The sad fact is that the northern Virginia areas you mentioned are all way over priced, over crowded, and comprised of an exceptional amount of rude people working for the Federal government or Federal government contractors. Been in this area for over 13 years now and it keeps getting exponentially worse each year. I am out of here within 2 years and it can't go fast enough!
You will have to look far to the West of that area and/or far to the South of the area to find something in your monthly housing range.

Yeah a lot of places are around 1700 or more which I'm fine with. Plus utilities.
I was looking for a townhouse or even just a house. I don't want anyone to live above me. Also looking as far west as Aldine and middleberg.
It is super crowded. Any areas you recommend or have heard good things about?
