I don't know the timeline from day 1 as a UPS intern. We are not involved in the UPS Airlines Intern Program, so I wouldn't be able to tell you on that regard.
Once the interns are selected for employment with AMF, they will go through our hiring process, training process, and will be released to fly the line as AMF pilots. Before they can go onto to UPS Airlines, they'll need to be ATP qualified, type-rated with an additional 1500 hours turbine PIC and 30 months flying the line. They also must have a recommendation and meet the UPS First Officer requirements.
