Sitting short call from across the U.S. is baaaaddd mmmkayyyy. If you're on short call, be within a "reasonable amount of time distance," whatever that means for your locale. Being out of position after trying and failing to make the commute is one thing. Out right now showing up is just going to make it tougher on the rest of us who do the right thing. People complain about the amount of SCs they have per day...this stuff doesn't help that cause.
