TRUTH

Now, I'm a big big fan of work smarter not harder. Extract maximum pay credit for minimum time at work, make as much as you can while you can, etc.

I saw it at the Regionals, and I'm seeing it now. A guy needs to credit some number above min guaranty to sustain his lifestyle. My buddies at DAL encounter the same, guys GS'ing like crazy, buying all the crap. It's just like pre 9/11.

Sadly, when things settle down, another downturn, whatever happens and things "normalize" and min guaranty goes back to being more the norm these guys are suddenly "broke". These are the guys that will cry because now they gotta sell the Hummer, Porsche, plane, 2nd/3rd home, etc.

They're not smart enough to realize they're on an elevated borderline "inflated" level of economic opputunity.
