Just like sick call and MIL LV, we had very Pilot friendly programs in place until guys started pushing it - now we have much less Pilot friendly programs in place in these areas. It will be interesting to see what if any proposed changes we see in SC.

I don't buy your SC cause and effect opinion because of the following reasons:
1. You're implying that SC abuse never happened before recent times. That's complete BS in my opinion - it's always happened. Look at the seniority of the alleged violators. For whatever reason, the company is now choosing to deal with it forcefully.
2. In your 18 years on/off reserve, how many of those early years did we have PBS? From what I understand, the pilot/scheduler relationship was more "friendly" pre-PBS.
3. You're suddenly finding yourself junior in a category and I believe that has some bearing on how scheduling handles you. I've seen my share of junior reserve in the recent past and can tell you that I've filled up on SC or come very close to it many times.
Goes back to what I've said about perspective being colored by seniority in this group. Seniority block representation within DALPA would be a very good thing for this reason.
BTW, I completely agree with hockeypilot44 regarding increased SC and I'll add that the ALV+15 reserve assignment change was another middle finger to the junior end of the seniority list.
