I was a revenue customer on a flight this week. BOS-West Coast. Departure was initially delayed 3 hours for crew rest. Of course min 10 hours after they landed at 0330. Jet was already on the gate waiting for the crew when MAINT opened a cowling. That turned into another 4 hour delay. Arrived at the West Coast destination. No Gate. 30 minutes got a gate and shut down. 20 more minutes to open the cabin door.
Customers blew up Twitter. Today got an email for $150 voucher and apologies. This stuff is costing real dollars.
