Nope...with certain exceptions, premium pay generally doesn't kick in until your reroute extends your rotation more than 4 hours past your scheduled release of the last duty period of your original rotation. (23.L.8).

However, 23.L.2.a states a regular pilot may not be rerouted prior to the airborne departure of the first flight segment of his rotation. Not sure what the "penalty" is to the company for violating this provision though.
