The 777 gets the other PVG from the 400 in early October I think. My back of the napkin math estimates sfo 777 will need about another 150 FO's. Probably at least 30-40 Captains beyond the current vacancy bid. Does anyone know where the new 787's are going? SFO 787 must be getting pretty full.
787 starts LAX-SIN, IAD-PEK, IAD-GRU, SFO-ICN, SFO-AKL
787 ends SFO-MUC, SFO-XIY, SFO-SYD, IAH-GIG
LAX ends IAD-LHR-IAD goes to DCA crew
SFO ends IAD-CDG-IAD goes to DCA crew
SFO gets back all SFO-HND, SFO-KIX from IAH (IAH has been flying 1/3 of each destination)
Who gets DEN-NRT-DEN? LAX or SFO? most likely whoever is most overstaffed.......
What all this means for 787 staffing I can't even guess. I would imagine both LAX and SFO are somewhere between properly and over staffed. Displacements? Maybe? To many moving parts here.
