We Right now only have 9 of the 14 original 300er's ordered. The others are supposed to be ready for delivery, but still waiting on seats for completion.

We eventually will have a total of 18. Not 18-19, unless we order more. The last 4 announced at Paris, won't be delivered for a while, I think 3Q of 2018, so all this flying from the 747 will have to be supported 14 airframes, and only if the late planes are delivered soon.

I still say, with the announced flying, we don't have enough 300er's to support it. Asking for something to go wrong, then the dominoes fall and it falls apart. Just my personal prediction.

Some of the flim flam between the 777 and 787 has to be because of the shortage. They have time to train and have bids for more 777's because the planes are late.

As for Guam, it is an international destination for the 777, but flown basic, no augmentation. That included HNL-GUM and NRT-GUM. It's under 8 hrs. Also, if you didn't have some kind of COLA for Guam, there is no way you'd ever staff the guppy FO position. You'd still get CApts to bid, but it's be very junior.
