this really doesn't help anyone except the super senior people that have 3,000 hours with the company and will be able to move on if they're taking a low number.
It's nice to have in the back pocket, but this seems like nothing more than a carrot to attract new hires.
Agreed that it sucks overall but the "super senior guys" have closer to 20,000 hours with the company and any captain on property has at least 3,000 hours.
