They haven't shown signs of imploding just yet as much as many of us wish that they would. If airline hiring mins went back to 250 hr wet commercial certificated pilots, they would have an endless supply of applicants. Which is exactly what the RAA desires...
Profit over Safety. The quality of pilot applicant entering part 121 airlines would drop sharply.
