For those who get hired and need the CTP, how often/quick can they get you started with that? Will that cause a significant delay in my class start date by having to wait a while to get into one of those courses?

Generally they seem to be able to get you into a CTP class as soon as you can make it happen. Adds a few extra days to training but you will get paid for it. I was able to start ground school the week after completing CTP sims. This was on the CRJ, I've heard rumors the ERJ is a longer wait but I don't know anything definite on that side.
