Not sure what you mean. The PCS run will not allow a WS to be added to a schedule if it violates FARs. If the trip then later changes by reroute or over block, I don't think it matters if it was a white slip, or a swap with the pot, or swap board pickup.

Or he means if you pick up a trip
during the PBS bid awarding that creates a conflict the next month they will drop a trip unpaid during the award process and you could get a line worth like 40-50 hours.
Bottom line if you WS something but THEN over block/ reroute or cant get rest, the conflicting trip gets dropped with pay.
