The main point I was trying to make is that SWA has a ton of flights in the LA Basin and Bay Area. We have a very small number of flights in comparison. It is going to be an uphill battle trying to take traffic away from a competitor that has such a dominant position in these areas. Our best bet is to offer something they don't, which would be transcon premium cabin service. Short haul west coast flying is a suicide mission at this point for us.
True. I could see us doing longer range international flying from JFK/BOS before burning cash on the West coast.
