Where does ATP/CTP happen? And is indoc/systems in utah/denver?

How is reserve times for both CRJ/ERJ? TBH I have shiny jet syndrome and wouldn't mind the ERJ, but a jet is a jet so it doesn't really matter.
And upgrade times?

How junior is O'hare, and what would the reserve times for there be? Much rather be based closer to the east.

How much of an impact do you feel this pay package will bring? Do you feel like management would try and increase pay prior to year 5 when they see the other regionals jump ahead?

Appreciate the help!

I'll take stab and see what I can answer for you. ATP/CTP has in the past always been in SLC but they are working on getting one going in DEN as well. Not sure how long until they have that or if they already are doing DEN as well. CRJ Indoc/systems is in SLC and ERJ is in DEN. Sims now are mostly spread between those two training facilities as well now. Sometimes will use ATL and CVG but I wouldn't plan on either of those. Usually find out during the first week of systems what the schedules are and then they'll let you bid.

Right now on the CRJ in DTW the reserve time is very short. It gets longer the further west you move. The ERJ is a longer time on reserve but from what I have heard the ground is not as difficult as a lot of systems have been simplified in newer aircraft. As of now all CRJs are starting in DTW and ERJ in ORD. You can use this website to track the seniority in other bases Pilot » SkyWest Airlines. It can give you an idea of how long it would take to get to your preferred base on each type of equipment. As far as reserve times in ORD I wouldn't be able to answer that, although I would imagine the CRJ is not a terribly long time on reserve (6-12 months or less). ERJ guys seem to grumble that their reserve is much longer.

As for pay and management changing it before 5 years is anybodies guess. Things move quickly in this industry. If we're still getting all the bodies we need in the door and they're not trying to maximize profit margins before 5 years is up it could change. If they have issues getting people pay could change for everyone or just first year. Only time can answer that question.
