After Jeff Martin was hired we had a winter IROP where we pre-cancelled a bunch of flights before the weather was even a factor. It was the smoothest IROP I have seen at Jetblue. Pax were reaccomodated well in advance, crews in position and rested for restart.

Then we received an email the next IROP how we need to capture as much revenue as we can, and we ran right up til the airport had to shut down because they couldn't keep up with the snow. It was a typical JB disaster.

So I do think mgmt knows how to handle IROPS, it's just that they (Joel Peterson) want to grab as much short term cash as they can without regard to the longer term damage to our reputation.
