With that being said, can anyone shed a little light on what a schedule may be like? I'm interested in the Columbus location. My understanding is that schedules could vary based on the type of training conducted at each location. (i.e. airline or corporate)

Schedules will vary from month to month. There was a significant pay raise in December of last year that makes the job one that you could definitely make a career out of. The Columbus facility has a lot more absolutes with the NetJets relationship. That helps with schedules as long as their isn't much turnover.

When staffing is adequate, there is more time for appropriate training. Staffing is just so inconsistent. That said, it's a very, very easy job if you enjoy teaching, training and helping others. Our program tries to give instructors between 12 and 15 days off a month and it's been much closer to 15 than 12 in most months.

Columbus is a really good facility with lots of folks eager to help new instructors and we need more good ones.

Good luck!
