For someone considering coming over right now, 3 years out they're very likely to still be on the property, probably as a senior FO just about to upgrade, or a bottom of the list reserve Captain. If the company instantly shrinks to 2/3s of its former size, that's a BIG problem. If I were coming over now, I'd be really concerned about this possibility.
We have 56 a/c, 20 are aa. I doubt envoy could staff 240 pilots just immediately... and the cost would be higher to suddenly attract that many pilots. Doesn't make any sense to me, but maybe it does to a higher up, idk.
