Hmmm...... I got ya.... I truly wants spirit because of the pilot group .. I always hear good things about pilots flying at spirit are one of the best pilot group. I work at Skywest and we just signed a TA (definition not a great one) but people you work with here are great and that's what matters .. Nevertheless does not mean I Wana work for free and starve lol...... Back to the topic.. Meet and greet is at socal next month with the chief so was wondering what kinda questions they ask and all... Thanks
If you're a good pilot and a good guy I'm sure we'd be lucky to have you.
Now, that said, the people you work with don't pay your mortgage, your kids' education, your retirement, your daughter's wedding, your life insurance so if you die your loved ones are secure, your family vacation, food in the table, clothes on their backs, or an occasional night out.
What does pay for those things is working for an airline with an industry standard contract and unfortunately spirit doesn't have that at this time.
So if high fives and smiles are what you look for in a career airline we are the place to be, if it's providing for the things I listed above then there are better options at this time.
To accel at the meet in greet normal interview common sense probably applies. Be yourself, be humble while at the same time selling yourself, and have a good answer as to why you want to work at spirit and won't leave the second an industry standard airline offers you a job.
