Rumor around the schoolhouse is that Tom and Ed have been discussing this. Tom wants a staple onto the bottom of DAL's seniority list asap, while Ed wants it to be a nice round number to make the math part easier. I'm not a connect the dots guy but looking at the fleet plan and route draw downs, I'd bet this is plausible.
