Hi people! I am working my way through this thread, but damn there is too much and many tangents. I'm very interested in Allegiant, but want to get as much info as I can before I apply, so as not to waste anyone's time. I'm very strongly seeking a new path in my career and Allegiant with the home every night flying suites my new desires. I've been flying wide body int'l for the last 11 years and have no desire to ever have to layover anywhere again; I wouldn't mind 2 day trips really. So I live and am planted(as in never moving again for this career and my wife has a great job here) about 40 mins from IWA. I'm reading that commuting is not the way to go for this airline, so I hoping someone can give me a rundown on the IWA base, i.e. seniority, schedules and if not right away how long it would be to get to this base?

How bad would commuting to LAS be from PHX area, probably driving 3.5 hours since jumpseating would be at least the same amount of time?
