Plus they have their own minions observing all ready. The same people have said they (amazon) openly voiced they do NOT wish to cross the line into airline ownership.
It makes sense, they are known for putting big bucks into their own operation but cut everywhere possible including wages and benefits and using subs. They have to keep price well below brick and mortar stores to survive but also provide speed and convenience.
In defense of my fellow crew though these guys have been #### on pay wise for decades. Some have seen this as their big chance. This round of negotiations was a sobering wake up that the status quo is the future.
Atlas and ATSG management is no different than trying to wean a stubborn calf. They are stuck on the tit we provide through sub industry standard wages. Its going to take persistence. Especially when profits are breaking records.
The thing with ATI is that its not just the pilots. Everyone here is paid less than their direct counterparts at ABX. Literally all of us here are subsidizing ATSG off our backs more than anyone else.
