And I would say it is best to drop the whole 'I didn't know it was illegal part of your story' ignorance of the law is no excuse and just makes you look ignorant.
I agree, this shouldn't affect you too much in your career even if they find it as long as you're honest in the interview. Tell them it was on a bicycle of course, but also don't kid about it with them. Own it, explain how you've learned from the incident (maybe learned to read up on regulations more, or learned to take extra care and leave yourself a personal BAC buffer on top of any regulations or company policies)
