No, they use VOR navigation. They do have an ACARS, it works well. It is nice how we check the breaks 5 minutes prior to departure. The ACARS are handy, you can get clearances form LAX and SAN through them, updated ATIS, text ops (fuel, arrival time, anything else). A buddy, just came back from recurrent and said there is not funding for the SAABS after next spring. its a rumor and take that for what it is worth. Also, the Letter 3 fell through so be cautious. I quit there a few weeks ago and I am going to another regional. The people out in LA for Eagle are great, I enjoyed everyone.
