May I recommend against doing all of your training with one CFI?
Problem with self employed CFI's is that they are their own quality control.
You may find and excellent one but you may also find the types that 'don't work well with others' and hence they are self employed.
I'd still recommend a school with stage checks by experienced instructors.
Your learning will be more allround.
