Part me of me thinks a lot of FOs are seeing how junior the jet has gone and are now trying their luck at bypassing even if they're eligible for the dash. There seems to be a bubble right now of FOs who were hired in early-mid 2016 who sat reserve and didn't fly much and are a couple hundred hours short.
