Does anyone else see a Great Lakes situation unfolding (maybe not to the same extreme)?
Currently they have about 30 pilots, based on APC data, years ago they had about 300. APC still shows 34 planes.

They claimed not being able to find pilots was due to the "shortage" rather than compensation etc.
"We’re hoping that the majors will increase their requirements for number of hours … and (stop) taking all the 1,500-hour guys off the street, which are the guys we need now too"
And now Compass is having trouble filling classes, but seems to have no plans to sweeten the pot.
Great Lakes has upped their compensation and added retention bonuses. They even have a program for people to advance to Frontier (granted it's not a legacy). The big problem is they waited too long and it was too little too late.
