I was talking to one of the mechanics in LGA today as he was doing a line check of our aircraft and asked him about the 700s. He mentioned the 700s are for over water flight because they have the over water equipment. Take it for what it is but such a small fleet for a single type suggests more 700 for 200 swaps in the future?
Going to need more than 3 planes for overwater, considering how much Caribbean 900 flying there is right now
